The Challenge:
A major automotive group — one of the largest dealership networks in the Hudson Valley — was building a flagship location for a global car brand. This 60,000 sq. ft. ground-up facility was designed to handle high-volume service traffic, sales, and customer engagement year-round. The client needed a mechanical partner who could handle everything: HVAC, ductwork, radiant heat, snowmelt, and a full-scale plumbing package — all built to support modern codes, energy standards, and real-world usage from day one.Scope of Work:
- Complete mechanical and plumbing installation for a new 60,000 sq. ft. dealership
- Installation of 14 rooftop HVAC units with zoned ductwork throughout showrooms, offices, and service areas
- Full plumbing infrastructure, including five gang bathrooms and utility systems
- Radiant heating system installed in the automotive service garage
- Snowmelt systems beneath exterior sidewalks and entryways
Our Response:
ACT provided full-scope mechanical contracting, with an in-house crew that managed installation from slab to rooftop. We:- Installed 14 commercial rooftop HVAC units with proper zoning for consistent comfort across the entire building
- Designed and installed duct systems that support high-visibility showroom status and high-performance service ventilation
- Delivered a complete plumbing package including restrooms, break-rooms, and utility piping
- Installed radiant heating in the service garage to improve technician comfort and reduce overhead energy loss
- Delivered a snowmelt system to protect walkways and entrances during winter weather
